Earlier this month, Learning Support Services in collaboration with the College of Letters and Science hosted a workshop designed to help instructors improve communication with their students using digital tools and resources.
Effective instructor-student communication is the bread and butter of education. While instructors have syllabi and office hours, new communication tools such as Twitter, Google Apps, or those on Learn@UW offer instructors ways to improve interaction with students and, more importantly, improve student learning outcomes. This workshop provided provide tips and suggestions for improving student communication, mentoring, and interaction using technological aids
